1. Confirm which edition you actually bought. Prices are confirmed at 79.99 dollars standard and 99.99 dollars for the upgraded edition, roughly 70 pounds in the UK. 2. Check your free space, then check it again. Rockstar has not published a final install size. 5. Check the payment method on your store account. An expired card on a pre-order can cancel the order outright. This is the single most common avoidable failure and it is a 60-second check.

7. Set up notifications from the real sources only. Rockstar Newswire is the source of record, the official Grand Theft Auto VI page sometimes updates assets slightly ahead of a post, and trailers premiere on Rockstar's YouTube channel, where the bell must be set to All rather than Personalised.
